It's almost time to return to the streams and creeks for more prospecting! We had a blast with the M.A.G.M.A. club digging in Hiddenite, North Carolina at the Sharpes Emerald Prospect. We unearthed some nice specimens as well as some facet-grade Smoky Quartz and we're looking forward to the ground thawing this year! We have several planned prospects in southwestern Virginia in the coming months. Check back with us!

The M.A.G.M.A. club will be holding it's 3rd Annual Gem, Mineral & Fossil Show in Asheville, North Carolina on March 20th-22nd.
